News story about intensive correctional program in Georgia. Shows a guy getting his head shaved.

After Hours (1985)

Directed by Martin Scorsese where punk rockers attack and slightly clip a guy.

American Me (1992)

Very brief scene were sailors hold down a Los Angeles Chicano and cuts his pompadour with scissors.

American Shaolin: King of the Kickboxers 2 (1992)
Drew Carson played by Reese Madigan travels to China to become a Buddhist. He gets his brown hair shaved with straight edged razor.

Angel (1984)
A serial killer shaves his head to disguise himself.

Anybody's Son Will Do
Documentary about the Marine Corps, shows two induction haircuts.

Army Commercial (1971/72)
Produced to promote the "new" post-Vietnam image of the Army. Fades in to a young guy in barber's chair. His head has been completely clipped to the skin, and he looks very unhappy as barber continues to run clippers over his scalp. Clippers heard in background, voice-over, "Used to be when the Army gave you a shave, this is what you got." then, using reverse photography, they put the hair back on the guy's head and he combs it.

Attack of the Monsters (1969)
Also known as Gamera tai daikaij– Giron. A Japanese boy is captured taken to a spaceship has his head shaved prior to eating his brain.

Backdraft (1991)

Towards the end of the movie, Kurt Russell and William Baldwin get into a fight where hair play is a part of the fight.   Reviewed verified by Men's Hair

Bad Blood (1994)
     
AKA Viper. Cute Hank Cheyne becomes the bad guys' patsy. He is slugged twice, beaten once, and tortured once. The torture scene shows his hand held in a vise while they burn his hand with a hot iron. Balkan Runner (1994)
     
AKA La Pista Bulgara. A handsome secret agent named Marc Fremont (Stephane Ferrara) is working undercover in a prison. His identity is discovered by the villains. He is tied up and gut punched while being interrogated. This is supposed to be a pretty heavy gut punching scene, though the guy does not have defined abs. . Also contains a hairpulling scene. Barbershop (2002)

In this look at a typical day at a barbershop on the South Side of Chicago, it's Cedric the Entertainer's performance as Eddie that stands out among the talented cast. As the elder statesman of the barbershop, Eddie, who never seems to have any customers of his own, spends most of his time sitting in his chair and serving as a Greek Chorus to the action around him. But when it comes time to show his handiwork, Eddie proves he can still wield a straight edge, giving a top-notch shave while dropping some wisdom about the changing nature of the business: "In my day, a barber was a counselor. He was a fashion expert. A style coach. Pimp. Just general all-around hustler." Follicle fact: Before the release of the DVD, Al Sharpton and Rev. Bent (1997)

A film adaptation of Martin Sherman's play starring Clive Owen and Lothaire Bluteau, directed by Sean Mathias, about two German homosexual men who find love at Dachau, a concentration camp during the Nazi regime. Hair scenes include a long, blond haired German soldier who is sexually involved with a Jewish guy. The German soldier is tortured and killed. Great hair scenes. The Jewish guy is sent to a concentration camp. He gets his head (medium length brown) and chest shaved + deloused. The entire haircut is shown.

BG Wrestling: Squash Job 1
Former Mr. Teen USA gets abused in a wrestling match and gets his hair pull many times in the match. You should also check out other videos by BG wrestling (and the Canadian wrestling series ... they have good hair pulling action).

Big Combo, The (1954)

Contains a two minute scene where Cornel Wilde gets his hair pulled by several gangsters, including Brian Donlevy.

Bitter Harvest (1993)
Stephen Baldwin get's his hair cut by one of the girls in an erotic scene. His hair was longish before the cut and was still pretty long to medium length after the cut.

Boot, Das (German 1981)

40 German men crammed into a U Boat ... W.W.II movie. The war correspondent in the movie has relatively long blond hair. There is no haircutting in the video, the cinematographer must have liked hair, since there are numerous scenes which focus on the guys hair. On the DVD scene 2, in the bathroom, the correspondent runs his fingers through his longish hair while the camera is on an over the shoulder shot of him doing so. Boy with the Green Hair, The (1948)
A young 10 year old, Darryl Hickman, wakes up one day with green hair. Against his will, he is forced into the barber chair and has his head shaved. Unfortunately, we never really see the hair getting cut.

Boys in Company C (1977)
Marine basic training movie has a great haircut scene, flawed only by showing just the before and after shots of the recruits haircuts.

Bravo Two Zero (1999)
     
British commando sergeant Andy McNabb (Sean Bean) has been captured by Iraqis after his 8 man squad operating behind enemy lines has killed about 100 soldiers while searching for Scud missles during the Gulf War. Sean is interrogated. The interrogation includes beatings, hairpulling, and torture as they try to force him to divulge the purpose of his mission. Cannibal ferox (Make Them Die Slowly-1981)

A group of people get attacked by cannibals. One of the guys with medium length blond hair gets tortured, castrated, and has the top of his head chopped off in a fairly realistic scene.

Cannibal Holocaust (1979)
A documentary from available from Film Wizards. A group of youngsters go into the Amazon and get eaten by cannibals. They filmed their own deaths, including the cameraman. The video camera and cassette were recovered by a search team. In one scene, the cannibals dissect a medium length blond haired man and play catch with his head.   Reviewed verified by Men's Hair

A bumper crop of men's hair, particularly beautiful is William Katt's light, blond, curly, shoulder length hair. There are two scenes, one in which Katt is sitting in a classroom while the camera lingers over his hair, the other when he is running on the high school track field while the wind blows through his hair.

Cause of Death (1991)
     
One shirtless guy (Michael Barak) is captured and tied to a chair by some males. Then he is slapped, and sexually molested and threatened by a dominant female. Then a cute guy (Guy Fury) is interrogated using a water dunking technique in what appears to be a good scene. This is not the year 2000 movie of the same name. Has a hairpulling scene. Child's Play 3 (1991)
     
This film was recommended by Lloyd at Service Sales Video Rental in Seattle. To quote Lloyd, "I don't think you would normally watch this type of film. When I took my nephew to see it, I thought of you and Men's Hair Club and had to let you know about it." Therefore, forget about Chucky and speed through the first seventeen minutes to the barbershop scene at the military campus. Stop the video and enjoy Justin Whalin get his longish straight brown hair yanked and cut lock by lock. Instant ecstasy! Pay attention to the locks of long hair on the wall behind the actors. The barber is a true hair fetisher and enjoys cutting every lock. Too bad the scene didn't last longer. Coming to America (1988)

While all three barbers at the My-T Sharp deserve recognition, it's Eddie Murphy's Clarence who puts the barb in barber. In heavy makeup and often playing directly off himself as another character, Murphy's Clarence also gets the nod for doing the only actual haircutting in the film, albeit it's a single snip of Murphy's Akeem's princely lock. Follicle fact: The boy sitting in the barber chair in the first scene in the My-T Sharp is none other than Cuba Gooding Jr. in his big-screen debut. Cowboys, The (1971)
     
If you have DVD goto chapter 21, 1:50. If you have VHS, it'll be at 1 hour 16:25 just before the intermission. Where Longhair (Bruce Dern) pulls Danny (Nicolas Beauvy), one of the Cowboys, off his horse while he is riding through the woods. Longhair has wavy shoulder length blond hair while Danny has straight blond hair of about three inches in length. The camera stays on their hair throughout the scene, during which you see locks of Danny's hair falling over the back of his head. On the DVD version at 3:23 into scene 21 and on the VHS version at 1 hour 11:58 Longhair grabs Danny's hair and pulls it back. The scene continues until Longhair takes Danny to the river and dunks his head into the water a couple of times.   Reviewed verified by Men's Hair

Contains two haircutting scenes done by Jaye Davidson who earned an Oscar nomination for this role.

Dahmer (2002)
     
About 1:11 minutes into the movie Dahmer (Jeremy Renner) gets into a restling match with Lance Bell (Matt Newton). Matt sporting longish curly brown hair is the first to get his hairpulled followed by grabbing and yanking Jeremy's straight longish blond hair. Dance with the Devil (1997)
     
Also goes under the name of Perdita Durango. If you are into long haired guys, watch the entire video. If you are into hairpulling then jump to 1 hour 26 minutes (chapter 14) into the video and watch as Romeo Dolorosa (Javier Bardem) grabs Duane's (Harley Cross) medium length bleached blond hair as he threatens him with a gun. A handsome young French lieutenant named Surrier (French actor Olivier Despax) has been captured by an evil black rebel army in Africa during the civil war in the Congo. The rebels are committing atrocities on their prisoners. De-pantsed, the handsome lad has his hair pulled and is apparently being sodomized or castrated. Reviewed by: tentaka.com

A young man gets his hair cut.

Death Be Not Proud (1975)
Extremely gloomy story about a teen-ager (Robby Benson) dying of a brain tumor. To prepare for surgery, the doctor cuts off all of Benson's hair with the clippers and finishes with shaving cream and razor. We see the whole thing start to finish.

Deep End, The (1970)
     
John Moulder-Brown is a bath house attendant attacked by an elderly woman who grabs his head, pulls his medium length straight blond streaked brown hair, playing "football" with his head.   Reviewed verified by Men's Hair

Desert Shooter (1997)
     
Also goes by the name of The Shooter with action movie star Michael Dudikoff (Michael Atherton) finally gets what he deserves. He is captured after he has killed the rapist son of a powerful rancher. The rancher has his cowboys beat up Michael in a corral. Then Michael is tied to a fence where he takes two punches and some hair grabbing and some cigar burning on his chest. Devils, The (1971)

A Ken Russell film. An adaptation of Whiting's play from Huxley's book dealing with witchcraft. It contains a scene of head shaving.

Disturbing Behavior (1998)

High school kids are being brainwashed to be perfect and not being bad. One long haired guy is being cool and has shoulder lenght blond hair at the beginning. Almost 45 minutes in the movie, he was kidnapped and gets a preppy clean cut look. Another guy gets it, before he does, he has sideburns, and hair longer in the front. He also gets the preppy clean cut look and the sideburns are gone. No haircutting scenes just before and after shots.

Django Kill!
Available from Film Wizards. Super spaghetti western graphically showing hair pulling, scalping, rape, lots of violence to men's hair! Also, shows two men scalped alive!

Dogfight (1991)

Stars River Phoenix. It starts out with the Marines having regulation high and tights with their hair growing longer towards the end of the movie. This movie is worth watching the guys hair.

Dreamscape (1984)

Murder mystery set in a West Point like military academy, stars Alec Baldwin and shows induction haircuts.

Elvis (1979)
Made for TV movie about Elvis starring Kurt Russell as Elvis. Movie has two stimulating scenes, a gang of boys gang up on young Elvis in a school bathroom and try to cut his hair off. The other scene is of Elvis (Kurt Russell) getting his clipper cut for the service.

End of the Innocence, The (Music)
A music video which can be seen on MTV or VH1. During Don Henley's the singing of:

   Just lay your head back on the ground

Europa, Europa (1991)

Evil Night (1992)
by Horoscope Film. There is a hair scene where a nerd with short medium straight brown hair gets attacked by a group of students. He gets Hershey's chocolate syrup poured over his head, topped with whipped cream and a cherry. All this time he is screaming for them to stop. The movie is quite bad, however, the hair scene makes up for it.

Eye of the Cat (1969)
Michael Sarrazan gets his hair washed, blown-dry, and styled in an early scene, goes on few a couple of minutes.

Fade to Black (1980)

There is a scene where a man cuts his own hair.

Family (TV)
Television series-an episode when Willie (Gary Frank) gives a "wrong side of the tracks" friend a haircut to disguise him from the law (not bad). Another episode when Willie lets the old family barber, who's retiring, give him his last haircut before he shuts the barbershop down (okay).

Farenheight 451 (1967)

There was one brief haircut scene in this movie - police approach a young lad on the street & point out that it's been far too long since he's been to the barbershop, so the police take the opportunity for a little fun and give him a forced haircut with cordless clippers right there on the sidewalk. The camera shot could be a lot better by showing the long hair falling, but all we really get to see is the clippers being moved close to his head and some tuffs of hair falling.

Fourth Man, The (Dutch-Vierde man, De 1979)

Not to be confused with the Anthony Hopkins 1992 version. In one scene, the main male character complains that his dark, medium length hair is too long and has it washed and cut. Great build up to the haircut in which we get to see some of the cut, though not much.

Full Metal Jacket (1987)

Opening sequence showing 16 guys being sheared for the military. Each pass of the clippers is pure cinematic genius. Great blank looks on recruits faces as they're shaved to total baldness.   Reviewed verified by Men's Hair

Going All the Way (1980)
Girls corner a guy in the locker room and cut his hair. Most of the cutting is seen. Do not confuse this video with the Ben Afflect 1997 version of the same name.

Gomer Pyle (TV)
First episode where Gomer (Jim Nabors) is inducted in the Army showing guys being sheared for the military.

Grace Under Fire (1996)
This is a 30 minute episode of Grace Under Fire where Quentin gets his head shaven despite warnings from Grace not to do so. In a nut shell, Quentin asks Grace to accompany him to the barber's for a haircut. Grace finds out that Quentin wants to have his head shaven and says "no". Quentin gets his dad to accompany him to the barbershop to get his head shaven without Grace's knowledge. When Grace found out, it was too late. She thought it looked OK after all.

Great Dictator, The (1940)

In this daring parody of Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany, released before America entered World War II, the great Charlie Chaplin stars as a Jewish barber who is mistaken for Adenoid Hynkel, the dictator of Tomania. While the film's best-known scene involves Chaplin as Hynkel contemplating world domination by doing a delicate dance with a balloon globe, it's Chaplin's barber delivering a madcap shave to the accompaniment of Brahms' "Hungarian Dance No. 5" that really shows off Chaplin's comedic chops. Follicle fact: Though Chaplin's unnamed barber resembles his beloved Tramp persona, Chaplin insisted the Tramp had been retired with 1936's "Modern Times." Hail Hero (1969)

Arthur Kennedy cuts a young Michael Douglas's hair, the scene lasts several minutes. This film is Michael Douglas's and Peter Strauss's first film, both equally nice to watch.

Hair (1979)

Some stimulating hair scenes. The best being near the end of the moive, Treat Williams has to cut off his thick, shoulder length brown hair to sneak onto an Army base. He hacks it off with a pair of scissors, leaving it about a scruffy half inch in length. We don't see the actual hacking, just the results of the before and after.   Reviewed verified by Men's Hair

Hairdresser's Husband (1992)

This is a wonderful film. About a boy and then man who is obsessed with haircutting and marries the hairdresser in his village. Lots of mens cuts. One forced cut on a boy. Many of you may identify with him, as did I. Movie is rated R for sensuality alone as there is no nudity. It is a highly respected artistic film. Television series-an episode when Chachi (Scott Baio) is kidnaped by a girl gang who want to get even with him by shaving his head (no actual cutting, just a great setup).

Hard Knox (1983)
About a military style summer camp contains a short haircutting scene of boys getting their hair shorn from the 1970's style long hair to a short cut, but not the high and dry we are familiar with.

Heartbreak Ridge (1986)

Gunnery Sgt. Tom Highway, Clint Eastwood, prepares a Marine platoon for the Grenada invasion. When he arrives, he tells the platton, "you look like models. I want you high and tight by tomorrow." No haircutting, just a brief scene of the next day when Eastwood runs his fingers over their new high and tight cuts.   Reviewed verified by Men's Hair

Heat (1972)

Andy Warhol film with numerous scenes of Joe Dallesandro tossing his long brown hair. There are sex scenes which involve women pulling and playing with his long straight brown shiny hair.   Reviewed verified by Men's Hair

Tom Sellick gets a haircut from a women.

Home Improvement (TV)
There was an episode in 1996 with Tom telling his son to get a hair cut. When son comes back from the barber with both sides of his head shaved and the rest of his hair in a greasy ponytail. The entire episode was about his sons haircut.   Reviewed verified by Men's Hair

Is a music video by the UK group TAKE THAT. It contains some fine scenes of a girl pulling and running her fingers through the hair of four guys. Unknown if this video falls under this category or X-rated, currently it will be kept under this category until more information is received.

I Wanna Hold Your Hand (1978)

About half way through the film, a father bribes his son to go to a barbershop to shed his Beatle locks for a military haircut. The unwilling son is held down by his father as the barber fires up the clippers and moves in for the kill. No haircutting, he gets saved by his friends.

In the Army Now (1994)

Pauly Shore is shown getting a realistic Army haircut, start to finish.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989)

During the first 10 minutes of the film, young Indiana (played by River Phoenix) is being pursued on the train and falls into the lion's car. As he gets up, he pulls his long straight blond hair back so he can see the lion.   Reviewed verified by Men's Hair

Lord of the Flies (1990)

Lost: The Complete First Season (2004)
     
Episode 8, Confidence Man: A handsome long haired blond guy with a criminal past named Sawyer (Josh Holloway) is suspected of stealing and withholding asthma medicine needed by a female. After Sawyer beats up a guy for trying to find the medicine, two other guys capture Sawyer and torture him for information on the medicine. They insert spikes under his finger nails. Man Who Wasn't There, The (2001)

As the chain-smoking laconic title character in this dark film noir from the Coen brothers, Billy Bob Thornton is the very model of quiet restraint and anger. From Ed's opening narration, "Yeah, I worked in a barbershop, but I never considered myself a barber," he makes it clear he was meant for bigger things. Frank needs money to invest in a dry-cleaning business, hates his alcoholic cheating wife and from there, in typical noir fashion, things goes awry. In the end, it isn't a barber chair where Ed ends up. Follicle fact: The Coen brothers were inspired to make the film from a prop poster depicting men's haircuts they saw during the filming of a scene in a barbershop in 1994's "The Hudsucker Proxy." Staring Mathew Modine, sports a shorter than normal haircut, has a nice 1-minute scene at the very end where he gets his hair washed. The woman doing it (not so) playfully yanks his head up and down with the hair while she lathers it.

Maxwell House Commercial (1999)

A short scene where Dustin Hoffman gives Jon Voight a trim.

Midnight Express (1978)

Negatives (1968)

Stars Glenda Jackson and Peter McEnery who fantasize they are a historical couple (he's a killer) in order to get aroused for sex. In the movie, this German woman comes into his life and wants him to continue this role playing except she wants him to play the part of Baron von Richtofen, the famous W.W.II flyer. There's a pretty hot scene where she decides to cut his hair to look like the famous German ace and she uses the old style manual hand clippers to do it. The scene is about 70 minutes into the film and takes several minutes filled with close ups. You see the clippers going up the back and sides of his head ... pretty intense.

Police Academy (1984)

Two of the police recruits were told by the sergeant to get a haircut. They went to the barbershop and the first guy with a long light brown businessman's haircut tells the barber to "take it all off", assuming that they must get an induction haircut. The barber says, "You got it". The sound of the clippers is heard and an after picture of his induction buzz is shown, but there is no actual haircutting in the scene. His blond longer haired buddy is next in the chair, and there is also an after shot of his induction buzz. After he gets out of the chair, another man sits and tells the barber, " Just a little of the sides". The barber starts to (kind of pretend to) cut his hair. The guy with the new blond buzz says, "you can do that?" The barber says, "yeah, this ain't the army, you know". It really was a funny scene, though I wish the actual divestiture of their hair was shown, especially with the long forelocks falling to the men's laps!   Reviewed verified by Men's Hair

An American TV movie where teen-age offenders stripped to their underwear and shorn upon entering reformatory. Hero gets into a fight with a barber, who attacks him with clippers (very kinky scene). Note: do not get this film mixed up with a foreign film of the same title.

Romeo & Juliet (1968)

Not to be confused with the Leonardo DiCaprio version. There are two scenes in this movie, first being about one and a half hours into the film, in the town square, where Tybalt (Michael York) has a sword fight with Mercutio ending with Tybalt cutting a tuff of Mercutio's straight blond hair and waving the tuff of hair in the air. The second scene is about ten minutes later where Romeo (Leonard Whiting) and Juliet are in bed. Rookie, The (1990)

Charlie Sheen gets his hair pulled in a bar room brawl early in the movie. Towards the end, Clint Eastwood gets into a struggle with a long blond haired guy whose hair flys in Eastwoods face.

Running Man, The (1963)

Not to be confused with the 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger film. A film in which Lawrence Harvey fakes his death, in doing so he has to change his identity, therefore, he dyes his dark hair blond and shaves some of it.

Running on Empty (1988)

A scene, 11minutes into the movie (DVD Scene 3, 3:24), shows River Phoenix drying and combing his very luxurious medium-to-long brown hair after just having had the dye washed out of it. Rushmore (1998)

Jason Schwartzman's Max might be somewhat ashamed that his father is a barber (he tells everyone at the prestigious Rushmore Academy that his dad is a neurosurgeon), but Seymour Cassel's nuanced portrayal of the older Fischer is one of the standout performances in Wes Anderson's beloved film. Following his expulsion from Rushmore, Max goes to work for his dad, and while he shows some serious skills with scissors, the soulful Bert can see right through his son's facade. In the end, with Bert's blessing, Max is back to his ambitious ways. Follicle fact: A key scene midway through Anderson's 1996 directorial debut, "Bottle Rocket," takes place in a barber shop. Also goes by the name of Desert Shooter with action movie star Michael Dudikoff (Michael Atherton) finally gets what he deserves. He is captured after he has killed the rapist son of a powerful rancher. The rancher has his cowboys beat up Michael in a corral. Then Michael is tied to a fence where he takes two punches and some hair grabbing and some cigar burning on his chest. Later we see Michael tied to a high platform in a crucifixion position. Someone Has to Shoot the Picture (TV-1990)

Not much is known about this video except it contains a short haircut scene. A middle aged, curly red haired prisoner with a mustache is shaved bald headed by wireless clippers before he is electrocuted.

Sung by Ke. In the middle of the song, a half naked black haired guy, locked in a bathroom stall shaves of his greased back hair with a set of clippers. There are some nice shots of the clippers as they make their pass through the hair, and nice shots of hair falling from the head.

Stripes (1981)

A quick pan over the three Army recruits getting their "military" buzz cut. This is followed by the after haircut shots of Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, and John Candy. Swimming with Sharks (1995)

There is a short scene of a forced haircut. A guy gets pushed too far by his boss. He kidnaps and tortures the boss. Part of the torture includes the upset employee cutting patches of hair from the bosses head.
